October
Wow, time flies! Here we are again with another month of school in the books! We just finished our "R is for rainbow" unit last week. The kids have loved exploring and experimenting with colors. We had so much fun celebrating Halloween with some festive activities and games - spider races, ghost cup stacking, the craft table, and a Jack-O-Lantern sensory table with orange rice were some of the favorites. I especially loved our costume parade/dance party!!
During this month of we also completed the "A is for Apples" unit. The kids really loved exploring/ dissecting the parts of the apple, but most of all the taste tests at the end of the experiment.
Coming up next we'll dig into our unit on nursery rhymes and work on the letter N, then transition into the food unit right before we celebrate Thanksgiving!
