December

December came and went so fast! We started out the month doing a variety of letter games to review the letters we've worked on so far during this first semester. I think everyone's favorite was the hopscotch letter game. They first had to name the letter and, as a challenge, give me a word that starts with that letter to proceed to the next circle. We have all been enjoying this beautiful weather so much, that moving some of our group learning activities outdoors was a must. 

The newest letter we worked on this month was letter M. The kids had fun creating their letter art with a cute monkey attached to it. We also got to talking about some other words that start with the letter M- marshmallow, mountains, and Merry Christmas!!

We wrapped up 2024 with a fun holiday celebration! I loved seeing everyone's Christmas spirit shine through their outfits during that week! We read lots of holiday stories, shared a tasty Christmas treat, and got creative with some fun holiday crafts! I hope everyone has enjoyed the holidays with their families and I am so excited to see these sweet, smiling faces back on January 7th!
