SUMMER CAMP 2026!
Willow & Wonder Academy exists to cultivate curiosity, connection, and a lifelong love of learning through relationship-centered, whole-child education. Through hands-on, play-based, and project-driven learning experiences, we nurture each child’s academic growth, creativity, confidence, and sense of belonging within a safe and deeply supportive learning community.
Our vision is to reimagine education as a place where children are known, valued, and free to learn with wonder. We believe that when childhood is honored, relationships are prioritized, and curiosity is encouraged, children develop the confidence, resilience, and love of learning needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Through meaningful experiences, strong community, and whole-child development, we aim to nurture not only capable learners, but thoughtful, compassionate human beings.
At Willow & Wonder Academy, we believe children learn best when they feel known, valued, and connected. Rooted in love, kindness, and relationship-centered learning, we create space for children to explore through play, imagination, collaboration, and meaningful hands-on experiences. Like the willow tree, we value resilience, flexibility, and strong foundations, supporting each child as they grow academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively. Through connection, community, and whole-child education, we strive to cultivate confident, compassionate learners prepared to navigate the world with curiosity, purpose, and wonder.
The world our children are growing up in looks very different than it did a generation ago. While foundational academic skills remain important, today's children also need opportunities to think creatively, solve problems, collaborate with others, communicate effectively, and adapt to an ever-changing world.
At Willow & Wonder Academy, we believe these skills are cultivated through meaningful experiences, strong relationships, and active engagement in learning. When children are given the freedom to ask questions, explore their interests, take risks, and learn through hands-on discovery, they develop confidence, resilience, and a genuine love of learning.
Our goal is not simply to help children master academic content, but to nurture curious, capable, compassionate learners who are prepared to continue learning, growing, and contributing long after their school years have ended.
Willow & Wonder Academy was born from a mother's love and a teacher's passion.
When I became a mom, my perspective on education began to change. Then, after my oldest son was diagnosed with a rare medical condition, I knew I needed a path that would allow me to be fully present for my family while creating the kind of childhood and educational experience I envisioned for my own children.
As both a mother and an educator, I found myself asking deeper questions about how children learn best. My years in education, particularly in special education, had shown me the power of relationships, individualized learning, and truly knowing each child. At the same time, motherhood deepened my appreciation for curiosity, play, connection, and the importance of protecting the wonder of childhood.
What began as a desire to create something meaningful for my own children soon grew into a larger vision. I dreamed of a learning community where children are deeply known, families are valued as partners, and learning feels joyful, purposeful, and alive.
Today, Willow & Wonder Academy is built on those same beliefs. It is a place where childhood is honored, curiosity is celebrated, and every child is supported as a whole person. Here, children are given the time, space, and encouragement to explore, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
